Quirky Quilters
We are a quilting and Patchwork group who call ourselves “The Quirky Quilters”.
We meet the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month (except bank holidays) at The Beacon Cafe connected to the Heswall Methodist Church.
The group is suited to all abilities though most are ladies who are completely new to patchwork. Some have dabbled in the past and want a refresher course so everyone is getting something from the group.
We have about 11 members and have run a few sessions with lots of laughs and encouragement from all. The 2024 meetings run from Monday 15th January 2024 from 10.00h – 12.30h. The course will be continuing on 5th & 19th Feb, 4th & 18th March, with a break at Easter.
In our last session before Christmas we decorated a Christmas tree and all the ladies were full of enthusiasm to sew some ornaments together while sharing mince pies and chocolate biscuits with our coffee.
The venue is lovely, full of light and lots of space for us all and parking.
We can possibly host a few more members with the possibility of further spaces in the future.
