French for Foodies
French For Foodies runs during the winter months October to March on the first Tuesday of the month. It is for advanced French speakers who are happy to chat in French during the whole session. The Group chooses a topic for each meeting e.g. Bretagne (Brittany) and it is up to you to interpret it how you want. Someone may bring information about Rennes cathedral; someone may chat about cider making and another may bring holiday photos of Brittany. The meal will be themed too so galettes would be on the menu. Delicious! It is all fun and friendly. We also meet once in the summer for a Bastille Day Buffet, 14th July or nearest Tuesday.
We are a small group of 6 to 8 because of space round the dining table! If one of the core group cannot make the session we offer it to someone on the waiting list instead.
We are also starting a French cinema group for those on the waiting list so you will meet everyone at some point.
