To All Members of Heswall U3A
We request anyone with Covid, cold or flu symptoms to not attend any Heswall U3A activity. In England the emphasis is on personal responsibility, guidance is to use face masks in enclosed and crowded spaces and to ensure indoor spaces are well-ventilated. Government advice remains that clinically vulnerable people should consider the risks of meeting in crowded and indoor spaces with poor ventilation.
Over the coming months and until the situation further improves, we would ask our members who are not at least double jabbed and have had their booster to not attend group activities. This is in line with many organisations.
Our numerous Interest Groups should decide amongst themselves the best way for their group to meet with safety and personal responsibility the watchwords, along with good ventilation in enclosed spaces.
If the activity is planned to be in Wales please check on “gov.wales” as their rules and guidance frequently varies.
